Chemical packaging

Chemical

Start with the chemical, its handling conditions and the package. Review filling behaviour, closure inspection and the installation requirements before selecting an equipment configuration.

Review the product, filling and closure

A chemical packaging brief needs the product identity, safety data sheet, process temperature and container specification. Establish the review conditions and acceptance checks before a sample trial or equipment quotation.

01 / Project review

Viscosity and transfer

Describe the product viscosity at the intended filling temperature, solids content and tendency to settle. Review transfer from the supply vessel, dosing and nozzle cut-off using representative samples. Agree how stringing, residue and net quantity will be checked.

02 / Project review

Foam and filling behaviour

Describe when foam develops during transfer or filling and how long it takes to settle. Discuss fill rate, nozzle position and headspace as trial variables. Select settings from observed results with the actual container; no anti-foaming performance is assumed.

03 / Project review

Closure and leak inspection

Provide the container, lid or cap specification and representative samples. Define closure inspection, handling conditions and an agreed leak-test method with your project team. A machine category alone does not establish package integrity or suitability for a chemical.

Explore chemical applications

For paint and ink, describe pigment settling, viscosity and cleaning between batches. For lube oil, describe temperature, dosing and drip-control requirements. For glue and gel, explain stringing, curing or residue concerns. For cleaning liquids and agricultural chemicals, identify the formulation and handling requirements in the project brief. These application names do not establish material compatibility or machine suitability.

Individual application pages marked “Page in preparation” are not yet available. You can discuss your application now or browse all application categories.

Review equipment by packaging stage

Start with the liquid line and filling categories, then compare can seaming or screw capping for the chosen closure. Labeling and coding guides cover downstream stages. Individual equipment pages support a shortlist for technical review; they are not an approved chemical line configuration.

Plan the configuration and quotation

What determines the equipment cost?

Provide the product and container range, fill quantity, requested output and current manual tasks. Include the supply vessel, utilities, cleaning approach, change parts and floor space. Request an itemized quotation for the agreed configuration, trials and installation scope; this page provides no price or capacity commitment.

How should materials and cleaning be reviewed?

Provide the formulation or relevant technical data, concentration, process temperature and cleaning agents. Ask for a documented review of wetted parts, seals, hoses and cleaning access for those conditions. Neither a material name nor an application label confirms compatibility. Define changeover and residue acceptance criteria in the project scope.

What is needed for a hazardous-area installation?

Supply the safety data sheet and the site assessment, including any area classification and required equipment documentation. Have the project team define ventilation, ignition-control and installation requirements before selecting equipment. Deepack explosion-protection certification, hazardous-area suitability and process guarantees are not established on this page.
