Plan packaging around the food you actually handle: its texture, portion and container. Compare filling and closing routes, then prepare samples and a clear brief for equipment selection.
A powder, a fragile solid and a sauce with pieces need different handling reviews. Start with the product sample and define how the finished pack will be checked before choosing an equipment configuration.
01 / Project review
Match the filler to the food
Describe whether the food is free-flowing, sticky, powdery or fragile. Include particle size, bulk density and the intended filling temperature. Send representative samples for a feeding and discharge trial.
Specify the target net weight or count, package size range and acceptable variation. Agree how samples will be measured during the trial, including start-up, changeover and product residue.
Provide the container and lid drawings, closure samples and your preservation process requirements. If vacuum or gas flushing is requested, agree the target and measurement method. Closing equipment alone does not validate food safety or shelf life.
For solids and granules, describe breakage limits and how pieces flow into the package. For jam, sauce and honey, share viscosity, pieces and the filling temperature. For nutrition powders, describe dust, flow and cleaning needs. These topics organize your enquiry; they do not establish machine compatibility.

Compare solid, powder and liquid line categories first. Then review filling, can seaming, capping or tray sealing for your chosen pack, followed by labeling. The individual machine guides below help define a shortlist for sample review; they are not a confirmed food production line.
List the food and package range, portion sizes, requested output and manual tasks to automate. Include cleaning access, change parts, utilities and available floor space. Request an itemized quotation with the supplied configuration, installation scope and delivery terms. Cost and performance must be quoted for that scope.
Decide whether the product needs weighing, counting or another dosing method, then check transfer into the selected container. Review the matching closure, changeover, cleaning access and downstream labeling. Include the interfaces to your food preparation and treatment steps in the layout review.
Set out the intended vacuum or gas target, package inspection and storage conditions with your process team. Ask for trials on the actual food, container and closure. This page gives no sterilization, food safety or shelf-life guarantee; those results require a separately defined and validated food process.
Share the food texture, portion weight or count, container and closure, cleaning requirements, requested output and floor space. This local form checks your input only; it does not send an enquiry. Contact owen@deepackmachinery.com.
